Calgary and Cochrane birthing class just for new dads


Dads should not be overlooked when it comes to childbirth preparation! The birth of a baby is one of the most demanding and emotionally charged events in life.

Our two-and-a-half-hour class helps men gain the practical knowledge they need to be involved in the births of their children in a positive way. Men @ Birth is a fast-paced, informal and conversational evening power session that covers the following:

  • What to say to a woman in labour
  • How men can actively help with pain relief in childbirth
  • How and when to advocate for your partner during labour and birth
  • Ideas to facilitate a faster and easier childbirth for your woman
  • What you can anticipate and do during each stage of labour and birth
  • Why the first hours following the birth are so important to your baby and partner's health and the best approach to maximize bonding.

Our Men @ Birth classes are held at several restaurant/pub locations with private rooms around Calgary. Dinner is included.
