Mother-to-Be Bundle
​

1x in-home prenatal consultation
  • During this appointment we will discuss your breastfeeding goals, any past experience you may have had, the needs of the newborn and how to achieve early breastfeeding success.
1x home/hospital visit, following your birth
  • Breastfeeding will be observed and evaluated, your questions and/or concerns will be answered and a care plan, for the mother-baby dyad, will be created, if needed. We will also schedule your follow-up appointment.
1x in-home follow up appointment
  • We will review your progress, adjust your existing care plan (when needed) and answer any further questions and/or concerns you may have.

Phone Lactation Consultations

These consults are one hour scheduled calls reserved for individuals not requiring hands on support but have questions on topics such as:
  • the establishment of breastfeeding
  • unplanned separation from baby (NICU, maternal illness, etc.)
  • pumping when returning to work
  • topics related to introducing a bottle
  • travel with baby
  • and many more subjects

If you live remotely, too far away for an in-person visit, or simply want answers to your questions this is your best option! Payment is due in full when the consult is booked. 1 week of text/e-mail follow up included.

Monthly Support Package

Exclusively for clients of Chavah Childbirth Services. While all lactation services include 1 week of text/e-mail follow up, many times clients need help further down the road. Questions include a broad range of topics such as:
  • pumping questions
  • transitions back to work
  • travel with baby
  • teething
  • illness
  • medications and breastfeeding
  • introducing solids
  • infant development + milestones
  • sleep
  • weaning
  • and many more subjects

Certified Lactation Educator

I have 3 beautiful children, Anika, Noah and Jocelyn. I breastfed all 3 of them and just like you had plenty of questions, challenges and very different experiences with each of them. I began supporting breastfeeding families in 2006 and have never looked back! I am passionate about human milk feeding and providing families with information and support that will empower them throughout their journey.
​My passion for maternal-child health is truly undeniable! I am respected and active member of the Alberta birth community and the owner of Chavah Childbirth Services Inc., an Alberta birth services agency. Collectively our team serves Calgary, Cochrane, Airdrie, Olds, Red Deer and all areas of Rockyview County, Mountain View County and Clearwater County.
​In addition to being a Certified Lactation Educator (CLE) offering breastfeeding support and education to families, I am a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE), certified postpartum doula and DONA-approved birth doula trainer and mentor.
