OUR STORY
Chavah Childbirth Services Inc. (CCS) was established in 2006. Over the years we have been privileged to assist hundreds of families all over Alberta and British Columbia.

To support growing demand and the modern-day transition to parenthood CCS expanded to include a team of caring professionals, including birth and postpartum doulas, childbirth educators, and breastfeeding support and classes.

The name Chavah represents the experience of life and is often defined as "to live, to declare and to show". With a strong history supporting maternal and infant health in capacities that embrace, nurture and teach families the name was an obvious fit for us!

OUR DIRECTOR
Erin Moyen is the founder and director of Chavah Childbirth Services Inc., she has been a maternal-child health professional nearly 20 years.

Erin is an advocate for safe family-centered care and wholeheartedly knows how profoundly childbearing effects the birther, their families, and community. Erin deeply believes every family is unique and encourages them to claim and define their birth journey and early parenting years as they see it.

The CCS team honours birth as a life event and provides quality education, support, and nurturing, to all families, from pregnancy through to parenthood and beyond...
