Calgary and Cochrane Breastfeeding Class

Breastfeeding success starts here!

Breastfeeding is a skill like any other and this class provides solid foundations to build from once your baby arrives. This 2 hour prenatal breastfeeding class will cover the following:
  • benefits for mom and baby
  • infant feeding cues
  • feeding positions
  • infant latch
  • how to know baby is feeding well
  • successful milk making
  • common challenges
  • community supports and resources
  • answers to your questions/concerns
Note: Partners are encouraged to attend. They will learn all about supporting mom and baby during the breastfeeding journey.
The Instructor:
Erin Moyen began supporting breastfeeding families fifteen years ago. Her passion for maternal-child health is truly undeniable! She is a respected and active member of the Alberta birth community and is the owner of a successful birth services agency serving Calgary, and surrounding areas. In addition to being a Certified Lactation Educator (CLE) offering breastfeeding support and education to families, Erin is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE), certified postpartum doula and DONA-approved birth doula trainer and mentor.
