Our Birth Doula Trainer has Over a Decade of Experience!
Erin Moyen began working as a doula in 2006 and still supports birthing families today! Her passion for maternal-child health is truly undeniable. Erin is a respected and active member of the Alberta birth community and is the owner of a successful birth services agency serving Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer and surrounding areas. In addition to being a DONA-approved birth doula trainer Erin is a mentor to doulas, certified postpartum doula (DONA), Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE) and breastfeeding support specialist (CLE) with an interest in Maternal Mental Health. <<Read More Here>>

- The Birth Partner by Penny Simkin (latest edition) is the manual for the Birth Doula Training Workshop. You should read it prior to attending the workshop. This will give you the essential background information needed to get the most out of the workshop. Please bring your copy to the workshop.
